The American workplace is not only increasingly becoming diverse and inclusive; it has also
become more challenging and complex. As many businesses in Corning and neighboring
cities/counties have involved in a cross-cultural environment, they require sound cultural
understanding and clear communications with clients, partners, and staff from different cultural
    backgrounds and nationalities.

This presentation aims to increase the cross-cultural awareness and build the cultural
understanding thereby reducing individual cultural biases. It will sensitize the participants regarding different cultural practices, verbal and nonverbal behaviors, and communications styles. The presentation also provides some culture-related tips to participants while dealing with the customers/clients/colleagues/business partners from diverse cultures.
